Before a website is launched, it’s important to make sure everything is ready.
Pre-Launch Checklist
- Yoast SEO for all pages.
- Header tags (use Detailed SEO Chrome extension to check)
- SEO Best Practices
- Test emails, make sure all forms have recipients and are going to a Thank You page.
- Uncheck search engine visibility under Settings > Reading
- Mobile / Tablet optimization
- Optimization for large screens
- 404 page
- Check all buttons/links
- Make sure old page links redirect properly to the new page links by using the Redirection Plugin.
