Toggl Tracking
We use Toggl to track the time we spend on projects. This tool helps us stay organized, monitor progress, and ensure accurate reporting for each client. By keeping a clear record of time spent, we can provide transparency and better manage project timelines and budgets.

Tracking Your Time
- Please track your time on all projects, especially larger projects such as website builds, website edits, logo creation, print projects, and video projects.
Setting Up Your Project in Toggl
- Click "What are you working on?" in the toolbar and describe the task you are tracking. Be as specific as possible.
- ex. "compressing photos", "updating website copy", social/display refresh", etc.
- Click the folder icon to the left to add the project. If the project doesn't exist yet, you can create one by clicking "Add New Project".
- Add the project name (ex. Mirra - Social & Display Ads, The Griffin - Website Edits) and match it exactly or closely to the project name in Monday.
- Click "Advanced Options" to view more project options.
- Add the client. If the client isn't in the database yet, you can add them by clicking "Add New Client".
- Make sure the billing settings are set to Billable.
- Click the tag icon to the left and select the tags that match the project you are tracking.
Tracking Your Project
- Click the play icon in the top left corner to begin tracking your time.
- When you want to stop tracking, click the pause button.
- If you forget to track your time for a project, that's okay. You can add time retroactively by switching to Manual Mode.
- Click the small plus to the right of the play button, and add your time entry by selecting the day you worked and manually entering the hours.
